Dog Friendly Vacations Michigan All Inclusive

Dog Friendly Vacations Michigan All Inclusive

Dog Friendly Vacations Michigan All Inclusive – If you’re looking to get completely blown away, Michigan is the perfect vacation spot. Surrounded by four of the five great lakes, the region offers beautiful lakes, dense forests, impressive gorges and deep gorges at every turn. The landscape is matched only by Michigan’s small towns that offer a warm welcome and towns that spark the imagination. With a wealth of scenery and a down-to-earth feel, your trip to pet-friendly Michigan will set the bar for all your future adventures.

Michigan is at its most beautiful in the fall, when temperatures begin to drop and the trees begin to change color. If you’re planning your fall foliage trip, keep in mind that the show starts in September in the southern part of the state, but starts a few weeks earlier in the Upper Island. Summer is another great time to go to the Michigan Zoo, especially if you love the water. The weather is perfect for enjoying the region’s many beaches and water sports. Naturally, there are profitable hotels to offer in summer and autumn. Accommodation deals are best in the winter and spring, but Michigan winters are harsh and springs are wet and rotting.

Friendly resorts offer lots of fun to spend with the things that come with it. In some cases, there are packages that give you even more.

When it comes to taking your dog on vacation, they offer something special for your pet. This is a huge advantage if you don’t want to search for pet friendly places to eat, things to do, etc.

This is a great way to introduce you and your dog to a pet friendly trip because you will be staying in a dog friendly area where you will be told where or where you can take your dog.

Sandos Caracol Eco Resort Mexico With Tweens

One of the biggest advantages of pet friendly resorts is that they are affordable. Whether or not the price is worth it is up to you, but in some cases, the dog pack is worth going to hot spots like Mackinac Island, where you’ll still pay a pretty penny for hotels.

Also, unless you’re camping (dogs are usually admitted free of charge), you’ll usually pay the standard pet hotel daily rate.

For example, Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island has a pet fee of $100.00 per stay. If you were there for 4 nights it would be $25 a day. Down the island at Quality Inn, their pet fee is $25 per day for a little fun and enjoyment. No offense, I was using you to make my point. See what I mean?

Another way to save money staying at a resort is to go off-season or when some promotional packages are offered.

If you don’t want to put a hole in your dog love bag, don’t go to Mackinac Island or Traverse City in June or July.

I’ve mentioned this in several posts, but it’s at the top of the list for a reason.

Mission Point Resort is one of the few pet friendly resorts on the island. Not only do they allow dogs, they welcome them with open arms. They have a calm dog, border collie Nick, who you can follow on Instagram @nickatthepoint.

The pet fee is currently $100 per stay. They also offer a pet-friendly package called Pooch at the Point, which includes a two-day stay, pet fee, breakfast, boat tickets and a welcome gift for your dog.

Dog-friendly Grand Rapids

The lodge is located near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake and has a variety of areas.

What’s really nice about the homestay is that the pet fee is included in the price at the time of booking. It is difficult to reserve individual pet rooms so call to reserve a spot.

Pet-friendly rooms are available at Fiddler’s Pond Inn. They have a limited number, so you should book in advance.

As a guest at the property, you will receive exclusive benefits such as unlimited pool access, hot tub, kayak rentals, golf course discounts, priority reservations and more. See all services here

Crystal Mountain Resort is pet-friendly, although there is no separate pet package. They tell you exactly what your dog is not allowed in the resort, which is very helpful.

Crystal Mountain is known for its winter skiing, two highly rated golf courses, a spa, and a variety of winter and summer activities.

Another popular ski resort, Boyne Mountain Resort is located south of Petoskey. Last fall we went without Kirby and enjoyed the hot tub and chair lift. We played golf at the Alpine course, which was a great course. They also have another course called Taallo, which is said to be very difficult.

When it comes to animal friendliness, they are probably the most gentle. They have their own pet-friendly rooms that can only be booked over the phone. Their pet fee is $25 the first night and $10 the next night, up to a maximum of $150.

It may not be the most famous on this list, but Portage Point Resort has been around since 1903. It has an interesting history as it was part of the 1897 Michigan State Legislature to build resorts after logging construction ended.

The resort has a variety of guest houses and cabins along Portage Lake with access to Lake Michigan. It is undergoing a period of renovation and remodeling but is still open for bookings.

Pets are welcome in some properties and can only be booked online. A pet cleaning fee of $25 per night will be applied to your reservation. See their policies here.
