The hotel is equipped with everything dogs and dog lovers can imagine: from dog beds, towels, bowls, food and water dispensers for guests to receive personal name tags. There’s also PetAlpin food, welcome treats, water bottles, toiletries, hiking and walking maps, a weekly schedule of all dog events and, of course, pampering on arrival.
The hotel’s dog-friendly facilities include a dog play area and readiness course in the middle of the vineyard, a dog pool, dog shower and grooming, a dog boutique, dog massage and osteopathy by canine physiotherapist Peter Mack, personal dog training and a selection of dog dinners.
Offers and specials for dogs include a weekly program of activities and excursions, guided dog walks, trips to search and rescue training grounds and adventure playgrounds, dog training lectures, behavior lessons and more. A guided walk through alpine meadows and dense forests and a visit to the Search and Rescue dog training area in St. Martin Passier. Lydia Böhl and Helmut Hochgruber, now retired Red Cross rescue dogs, share here their over 45 years of dog training experience.
