The house is spacious and comfortable with a mix of modern and original furniture. Very comfortable and welcoming. Walk down the hill for a few minutes and you are at the beach. When the sun shines and the trees and rocks by the river shine, it’s beautiful. In the area, we hiked for hours at Point Lobo. Amazing! View of the sheep and grounds of the Mission Inn. Whoa! And on and on… We’ll be back! The host was great! Thank you Karen!!

The short walk to the beach made it easy to get around. There were some beautiful houses in the neighborhood, we enjoyed our evening walk. We loved it so much we checked the calendar to book again!

This was our second stay at the Adobe House above Carmel. It was a very different experience this time, no fog lights…but we had a good view of Karmela. The house is well equipped and Lou is very welcoming
