Our little red dot is abuzz with National Day celebrations across Singapore, so keep your eyes peeled for festivals and fireworks displays nearby. For music lovers and those who want to support a good cause, there are free live concerts such as the Mediacorp National Day Concert at Gardens by the Bay and VIVA Fiesta 2024 at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. There’s also a weekend market in Sentosa and a huge pet festival at the Marina Bay Convention Center – lots of things to do with the kids this weekend!

The Gardens by the Bay and MediaCorp National Day 2024 Party returns for its sixth edition in a single day! The lawn will be full of carnival action, which will entertain the family with classic carnival games and go-kart races. Attendees can also get some goodies like cotton candy, popcorn and even plants to take home. Of course, you’ll always enjoy a pre-show concert featuring local actors, stilt walkers and jugglers. The main event starts at 7:30pm and features names like Olivia Ong, Benjamin Keng and Tawfiq Badisa, all NDP favorites to sing along to.
