GrabPet has specific animal size guidelines, with a maximum of 2 medium-sized pets (eg poodle, any cat, etc.). According to Grab, it is up to GrabPet driver-partners to decide whether to allow additional animals on board.
Pet parents must keep their pet in an appropriate carrier or equipped with a diaper or litter box (dogs and cats) while boarding the plane. Dogs should be kept on a leash and in diapers, while cats, rabbits, pigs and hamsters should be kept in cages or crates. Fish must be kept in airtight containers or fish tanks, while turtles must be kept in airtight containers.
The Grab operator reserves the right to cancel the reservation if the animal is not in the carriage or is not diapered. If your pet accidentally damages your car, there will be a cleaning fee.

As of July 2021, pets, including cats and dogs, are allowed on MRT-3. According to the MMDA, pets must be confined to animal handling areas no larger than 610 mm x 610 mm (2 ft x 2 ft). Only one animal per passenger is allowed, and no pets are allowed during the trip. Pet owners must also sign a pet release form to bring pets to MRT-3.
The National Rail Transit Administration (LRTA) also announced in February 2023 that small dogs and cats will be allowed on the LRT-2. Fur parents, please note that only one dog or small cat per passenger is allowed to travel for free. All pets must be kept in 2 x 2′ cages and must be vaccinated. Owners will also need to present a valid and up-to-date pet vaccination card to board the train.
While most public buses do not allow pets in the passenger compartment, some bus companies have specific policies for allowing pets on board.
If you need to travel north to south to Ortigas from a metro line such as Alabang, RRCG Transport’s premium point-to-point bus service allows pets. They allow small to medium pets at no extra charge. Make sure the pet is diapered, in the carrier/cage and on a leash.

You can bring your pet on provincial bus lines such as Victory Liner, Genesis Transit Bus, Partas Liner and Bicol Isarog.

Victory Liner allows passengers to transport small and medium-sized dogs and cats on its buses, as long as they adhere to the guidelines set by the LTFRB. In 2022, Genesis Transport Service Inc., which provides tourism services to Baler and Baguio, announced that they will only allow small and medium dogs, not large dogs. They also require pets to wear pet diapers to maintain cleanliness and hygiene during travel.
Pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, lizards) and birds are allowed on the Partas Liner if the owner occupies the last three rows of the bus and receives permission from other passengers. Dogs, cats and other pets must be safely accommodated in the transport vehicle and allocated a seat next to their owner, while birds must be loaded in the belly compartment of the bus (ideal for overnight journeys).

If you are heading south to Naga City, Legazpi, or Sorsogon, take the Bicol Isarog Lines, which include Penafrancia, Legazpi St. Jude Transport, and Pintados Bedding, Cage Permit, and Diaper Wear. Each passenger is allowed one pet. Pets will also be charged the same price as adult passengers in assigned seats.

According to 2GO, all types of dogs and cats are allowed on board unless properly restrained (tight, clean and escape cages). Requirements include a health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian 10 days prior to travel, proof of rabies vaccination and a transport permit issued by the Bureau of Animal Industry.
