Best Places To Stay On East Coast
So where are we going first? Let’s dive into my favorite beachfront hotels and the best beaches on the East Coast.
Traveling To The East Coast
East Coast states are full of beaches, from the wooded shores of Maine to the clear ocean waters of South Florida. Many hotels are located on these beaches; Some with style and sophistication, others with relaxed rustic personalities that reflect the authenticity of the place. Below are six of the best East Coast beaches and hotels to visit this summer.
South Beach is full of trendy shops, trendy bars and restaurants and long stretches of sand dedicated to sunbathing. Setai, Miami Beach is one of the trendiest hotels in the area with unmatched art deco and Balinese beauty. Upon first entering, guests enter a peaceful lobby where Southeast Asian-style iced tea awaits upon check-in.
They soon discover the hotel’s childish-style courtyard, boasting a fountain flowing from the Amritmay Jaya restaurant, charcoal sofas, towering trees and outdoor seating in the middle. The hotel is available in two locations: a restored Art Deco building from 1936 and a modern tower overlooking the Miami Beach waterfront. In addition to being on the beach, other useful amenities include an excellent spa and a beautiful pool to cool off on a hot summer day.
Little Palm Island Resort and Spa is located on a private island in the Florida Keys. The hotel’s architecture and interior design refer to the British West Indies. Beach bungalows with thatched roofs and vaulted ceilings, palm trees, shell-strewn walkways, and elevated accommodations like the Island Escape Suite, complete with four-poster beds, butterfly nets, and outdoor showers.

The hotel beach offers peaceful privacy, colorless sand, crystal clear water and pearly white sunbeds. For added relaxation, refreshing treatments await you at Spaterre; Its picturesque two-storied atrium and hand-crafted tile fountains evoke complete serenity.
Located on Cumberland Island – a Georgian haven with 28 miles of secluded beaches, wetlands rich in flora and fauna (there are more wild horses than people) and a 300-year-old live oak throughout – Greyfield Inn appeals to those seeking solitude with its status as a unique merchant of flora. In fact, the National Park Service limits the number of daily visitors to the protected Cumberland Island National Seashore.
The property was originally built by the Carnegie family in 1890 as a private residence, which was converted into a hotel in 1962. Inside the colonial-style building are elegant rooms and common areas furnished with famous Victorian antiques, Tiffany lamps and Chippendale furniture. During the day, in addition to relaxing on the beach, the hotel can organize kayaking in the shallow river basin, bird watching (Cumberland Island is a migratory stop for over 300 species of birds) and fishing in the local waters.
The 96-room Marram Boutique Hotel is an oceanfront Hamptons treasure that oozes barefoot luxury and opens to the public in late 2019. The rooms soothe guests with their white oak wood beams, exquisite handwoven rugs and light brown and beige designs. Plans show a sandy beach in the courtyard of the hotel.

Enjoy the best of daylight while relaxing by the on-site pool or taking a dip in the Atlantic. The night passages are quiet here; Many guests like to start the evening at Chef Fernando Trock’s in-house restaurant, Mostradore Marram, which serves cured meats, local seafood, farm-fresh vegetables and delicious pastries before tucking into s’mores roasted in one of the hotel’s fireplaces. .
Life House is one of the newest exclusive hospitality brands in the travel world; Its Nantucket location is no exception. Last year, the company opened its doors and renovated a 19th-century Federal-style mansion that reflects its design description of “a carefree inn-fringed cottage filled with touches of island flora.”
Nantucket luxury and flair is everywhere, especially in the 17 sun-drenched guest rooms with floral patterned upholstery, custom closets, botanical showers, raffia tables, Le Labo toiletries and Marshall speakers. Charming island towns and picturesque beaches are within walking distance.
The ambiance of the White Barn Inn in Kennebunk, Maine is one of coastal charm and timeless elegance. Part of the renowned Auberge Resorts collection, the riverfront property and its 26 meticulously renovated rooms are housed in the famous Main House, Garden Inn and Waterfront Cottages.

On the gastronomic front, the White Barn Restaurant expertly combines award-winning seasonal dishes with wooded surroundings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden. The hotel is 13 minutes away from the beach. If you’re not in the mood to walk, you can rent bikes for the beach, or better yet, arrange with the hotel’s general manager for a bike tour of Maine’s southern coast.
