In fact, the site has a “pet friendly” filter that is very helpful when planning trips with dogs. You’ll find it under the “Properties” menu on the left side of the menu. Also, each hotel states whether pets are allowed for free, with an extra charge or on request. This description saved me a lot of time! Other than that, I have to contact each hotel to see if they accept my dog.
Tip: In my booking experience, when a hotel allows pets for an extra fee or request, it means they only accept small pets. In this case, contact the hotel and inquire about their policy. On the other hand, if the hotel states that pets are allowed for free, great! Just tell them when you book that you will be bringing your dog or cat.
