Dog Friendly Places Near Me Indoor – Love it or hate it, winter can be a tough time of year to own a dog in Utah. While there is (usually) plenty of snow to enjoy in the mountains, the cold weather can make it difficult for your dog to find other winter activities in Salt Lake City. Despite the cooler temperatures, many Utah dog owners are surprised to find that patio dining is completely off the table during the winter months.
While many Utah restaurants close their patios in the winter, Salt Lake City has plenty of options for dog-friendly patios. Whether you’re planning brunch, early skiing, or just catching up with friends, these 7 dog-friendly restaurants should be at the top of your list.

Remember to make sure your dog has an up-to-date rabies and city certificate tag before eating! The Salt Lake Health Department requires all dogs to display both tags when eating on approved patios, and you may be asked for proof. Coming to Salt Lake City from out of town? Just present a rabies certificate and your out-of-state driver’s license.
5 Dog-friendly Activities In Singapore That’s Never Tiresome
Located just south of Sugarhouse on the border of Millcreek, The Brickyard Bar offers a sporty atmosphere and quality pub food. From smoked meat and cauliflower wings to fried cheese and churros, the menu has something for just about everyone. Diners can pair their food with Brickyard’s extensive beer, wine and spirits menu. Brunch is also available on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Their dog-friendly patio was recently expanded to offer nearly three times the outdoor space. We recommend trying to mount the table in an enclosed space near a building with many heaters.
The closest you can get to a local eatery with your kid is Root’d Cafe in Cottonwood Heights (not to be confused with Roots Cafe in Millcreek of the same name). Root’d’s dog-friendly patio is under a roof to provide shade year-round, but the addition of heavy-duty plastic covers and heaters make the patio ideal for the winter months. Their farm-to-table style breakfast, lunch and dinner menu focuses on wellness. Root’d offers a great lunch with great bags and a fun bucket of bubbly (our personal favourite), a bottle of prosecco and your choice of 4 freshly squeezed juices. The number of seats on the terrace is limited, so make an appointment in advance if possible!
Fisher Brewing Company has been a Utah staple since 1884 in the Salt Lake Brewing District. Located in the Granary District, 21 and over can add this dog-friendly pub to their winter outings. Fisher’s usually offers more than 15 beers and is a great place to meet up with friends and your dog. In winter, you can expect their lovely patios to be covered with tents and additional heaters scattered around the seating area. In our experience, it keeps the outdoor space just as tasty as the tap room. Although Fisher Brewing doesn’t serve food itself, there is a local food truck on site almost every day.
Marmalade’s flagship Handle Bar is “Salt Lake’s only bike- and mustache-friendly bar,” but you can add dog-lover to that list, too! Two gas fireplaces and air heaters keep the bar’s rooftop tables cozy even when the temperature drops. Vegetarians and carnivores alike will love this classic American pub menu that caters to all dietary preferences. Don’t miss brunch – delicious food and $2 mimosas! Handle Bar is the only dog-friendly restaurant that offers dogs on-site, where your pup can take a quick break while you grab another drink or go to the bathroom.
Visiting Trust Places With Your Dog
The dog-friendly biergarten is a shining feature of Murray’s Ice House any time of year. This no-frills local bar, as the name suggests, has an extensive German-inspired menu featuring dishes from around the world and herbs. Where else can you get a vegetarian corndog? Over 160 types of beer are available to prepare or cleanse your palette. The Ice House’s large covered patio has heaters, counter-height tables and is a great option for large groups that need more space. The kitchen is open until midnight every day, and brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday.
Salt Lake City’s most popular breakfast spot, The Park Cafe, now has a warm, covered patio that’s open year-round. A cozy patio with a fireplace and heater will keep you and your baby cozy in the winter months. With limited space and usually long waiting lists (sometimes up to 2 hours on weekends!), we only recommend this park for dogs during peak hours and days. Park Cafe is a dog-friendly option in the winter with a walk in Liberty Park before or after your meal.
Level Crossing Brewing opened its doors in 2019 and officially began welcoming dogs to its newly expanded patio in 2022. In addition to the winter fireplace, they have added a heated tent to make the terrace available all year round! Their menu features delicious appetizers to complement their wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, and craft brews. Hospitality is at the heart of the crossing, so your dog is sure to feel as welcome as you do.
If you want to take your dog for a walk in the winter, we’d like to mention some of the patios because they have heat sources on their patios.

Another great Granary District brewery is Templin Family Brewing, better known as TF Brewing. Their large fenced-in porch is one of our favorite dog-friendly spots in the summer, but winter can be chilly if you can’t pull up the Adirondack chairs by the fireplaces. The light won’t come on even if you’re asked to, so you can find an employee to help you.
Chai Zanti Anjang, a welcoming tea house in the heart of Sugar House Street, is available all year round. Low seating is available on the covered patio, but the standing heaters are a great patio to use if needed.

It’s a beef patty with fries and salad!🍔🥗🍟 The beef patties were juicy and delicious🤤🤤 huge portions😂😂
Super creamy and thick! I’m not a fan of it as I find it too thick for my taste🙁 You can taste grainy bits in the sauce (mushroom bits I think) It can also have a good bite after a while.
The Apple Gin Elderflower gin flavor was very strong and carried through the entire drink. Sea in the garden has a fruity taste, very sweet, I don’t really like it🥴🥴
Dog Friendly Places In Miami
Overall a good experience there and very accessible by train too!! They also have live music at night, a great place to hang out and meet friends!😙 After doing something in Singapore at the weekend. Did you know that there are many unique concept restaurants in Singapore these days? One of them is The Dog Cafe concept, which gives visitors the feeling that they are eating cute dogs.
In addition to the usual cafe atmosphere, there should be a dog as far as the eye can see. Sometimes dogs will sit on a chair next to you or stand on a table, as if asking for a conversation. If you are too lazy, these dogs will do anything for attention. They run, bark, jump and roll over to play with strangers. But don’t worry, they are trained to help themselves in this space.
Alas, if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a delicious meal and furry company, check out one of Singapore’s many dog restaurants.
