There are many beaches that welcome your dog, but remember that not all of them are dog-friendly during the summer months. For example, Southwold and Aldeburgh are incompatible from early May to late September (although the former ferry is dog-friendly). Other places such as Dunwich and Walberswick have no restrictions.

There are many other tourist attractions throughout the state that welcome dogs, but you must keep your pet on a leash. These include Framlingham Castle (although coffee is banned) and Leiston Abbey, close to Sizewell nuclear power station.
