Our four dog-friendly cabins include a spacious studio with one queen-size bed and a pull-out futon in the living room. All rooms can accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults/2 small children. These popular cabins fill up quickly, so book early, especially for the summer months. The Commanche, Winnebago and Zonta cabins have large Jacuzzi tubs in the bathrooms for added luxury. Our in-laws house is the most expensive dog house because it has a custom tub and shower combo. We only allow guests to reserve these dog-friendly cabins if there are no other cabins that can accommodate your group.

Any dog adds an additional fee of $25 per night to the reservation. When registering online, you must add the number of pets. Unfortunately, dogs are the only pets we allow in our cabins near Starved Rock. There is a maximum of two dogs per cabin and each dog is charged per night.
We have a total of 17 cabins on our Kishauwau property and unfortunately not all are dog friendly. Many people are afraid of dogs or have severe allergies. If we need to spend more time cleaning your cage because of your dogs, your card will be charged accordingly.

Don’t forget to take your dog to the national parks too. They wait for your dog on miles of trails while you keep him on a leash. Then check out Starved Rock State Park or Mattiessen State Park. Some trails may not be suitable for dogs, so be sure to check before you arrive.
