The UK’s most popular dog-friendly beaches have been revealed, with new data from online reviews used to find Britons’ favourites.

The Best Dog Friendly Beaches In Norfolk
The first place to go is Durdle Door beach in Dorset, with a dog rating of 8.85/10. Described as “the perfect beach escape for dogs and their owners, the iconic limestone pier is a dream safari experience”. Scores are based on more than 4,298 West Country beach reviews.
Another location on the Dorset coast, Man O’War Beach, came second after scoring 8.3. Also known as East Durdle Door, this is a pebbly beach with calm waters protected from storms – meaning it’s a great place to frolic with your dog.
Tied for a lost beach on the Welsh coast, Three Cliffs Bay in Glamorgan is the first sandy beach on the list. There are sea cliffs here and plenty of space to explore.
Following in fourth place, with 8.2 out of 10, is Marloes Sands in Pembrokeshire. A long stretch of golden beach with a backdrop of cliffs “is a perfect place to take photos with your kids,” the report says.

Cuckmere Haven Beach is located in East Sussex and 8.06. The pebbles stretch close to the white chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters.
Devon is home to the most dog-friendly beaches on the list, with 22 out of 148 beaches on the list.
This research comes from the shower for you, having analyzed Google ratings and reviews of 148 dog-free beaches to find the most popular ones. However, beaches without ratings or reviews on Google Maps were excluded from the study. The mean was calculated to obtain an overall rating before calculating the standardized index score.

On the Lizard Peninsula, in a pretty Cornish village, you’ll find Coverack Beach. This area is known as a great place for diving and the calm waters are perfect for your dog to swim! Most of the beach at low tide is sand and gravel, the beach is more sheltered because it is on the eastern side of the lizard peninsula. That also means it’s quieter in the summer than other beaches in the area! But remember, during the summer months (June, July and August) your dog must lie on top.
Polgwidden Cove, at the end of our Trebah garden, is a beautiful beach on the north side of the Helford River.
Famous for its crystal-clear waters and for its role in World War II, your dog will love sniffing around this pebbly beach.

Spend the day with your furry friend at Smyrna Dunes Park in New Smyrna Beach, where pets are allowed at the beach entrance, although they must be on a leash at all times.
One block north of Sunny Isles, set up a cool and stylish tent and chairs and umbrellas at Haulover Beach Park with your kids. Dogs love being in the sun, sand and water, as long as they are supervised by their owners.
