From Kassiere/Hiland to Asheville. One of my favorites is Maggie Valley because it has dog-friendly cabin rentals, plus it’s close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and plenty of hiking opportunities for you and your dog. Asheville is also close by with good dog friendly restaurants.

It’s important to make sure your puppy’s ID tags are on the collar and that his microchip is up to date so the good people know where your fur belongs.

Just as you make sure your home is safe for a puppy that is starting to have children, you should do the same for any dog that is left alone for long periods of time or may experience stress when you leave.
