What You Need To Know Before Bringing Your Dog To Yosemite National Park
This short hike takes you on one of the park’s designated trails to the bottom of Bridalveil Falls and offers a spectacular view of the falls. This waterfall is famous because of the famous photographer Ansel Adams.

Would you like to go on long walks in the valley with your furry friend? While most dog friendly trails are under a mile, there are some longer ones.
The old Big Oak Flat Road connects to the beginning of the highway through the giant redwoods of Tuolumne Grove. Dogs are welcome on this 5.8 mile trail to Hodgdon Meadows Campground.
If you walk from the beginning of the trail to the campsite, it is mostly downhill. For a more challenging ride, do a different spin!
This dog-friendly 12-mile trail starts at the Highway 49 golf course. It was an old coach style, neat, but worn out over time.

If you complete the entire trail, you will climb over Chowchilla Mountain and descend into the Ponderosa Basin.
