Can I cut the entrance? Without steps? Are there accessible toilets? This results in a list of places to visit as a family that you have little or no barriers to visiting as a person with a disability.
I have been to West Midlands Safari Park and I have to say it was a pleasure to visit. What I love most about this as a walkable attraction is that you do it in the comfort of your own transportation. If you can sit in your own car and look out the window, you can experience this place completely different from others. The prices were a bit more affordable last time I visited. So when I go to the toilet, I go to a normal adult toilet with a cane. However, I noticed that there are toilets for disabled people and I’m sure that would be enough to meet the toilet needs of most disabled people.

It was an amazing trip as a family and there were so many animals in such a large area. But without family, Dinaro still gives 100%. I really like animals. Getting up close and personal especially with big cats in the comfort of your own car is truly amazing to me. On top of the driving circle they have exciting ‘walks’ on an infinity track, amusement park rides, food stores, a reptile house aquarium with sea lions and penguins and even a dinosaur walk.

Now I know this isn’t very revealing, but there’s a good reason I want to feature it here. I would like to make a special mention of two cinemas that are very close to me; These are Cineworld in Bentley Bridge Wolverhampton and the Odeon Cinema in Tamworth. The reason I give them a special shout out is the seating position. I think anyone who has been to the cinema can sympathize with disabled spaces in supermarket car parks. However, the seating in both places is at the back of the theater. One theater has an elevator, so the rear entrance is used for showing movies, and the other is all surface access at the back is a ramp to lower level seats. Gone are the days when people with disabilities who wanted to go to the cinema would get unbearable cramps at the back of their necks.

The park seems to be a great place for all ages. I haven’t been there in years unless I was a teenager. Last time I visited I didn’t feel anything was wrong. I recently visited my family for Christmas. It was winter when we went, so it was dark and I knew I needed a headlight on my mobility scooter because the road wasn’t lit when I got out.
The park itself is the main attraction for older children. Then there is the Thomas Land section for children. I can honestly say that I was surprised by the number of rides available for kids. I thought the number would be much lower than it actually is. I haven’t followed any of them myself, but if you’re a little more patient. Make sure the staff is trained enough to help you drive where you need to go.
Park and on Thomas Land. There is also a zoo. Although we did not visit the zoo on this occasion. I can see that an annual pass to places like this could easily get you through a few family days without having to repeat them. There are also people who take dinosaurs for a walk in the zoo.
